Advanced Control System (ACS)

The icon for the control system is its initials, ACS. This light comes on when there is an error with the advanced control system and is accompanied by 3 audible alarm beeps. You may need to contact an authorized dealer to help you diagnose the cause of the error and to reset the system. There is no physical evidence to tell what causes it to fail.

Attachment Control Device (ACD)

Like ACS, Attachment Control Device (ACD) light also uses the initials as the icon. If the light is constantly ON, there is an electrically controlled attachment. But if it flashes and/or 3 audible beeps follow, there is an error with the attachment control device. Contact an authorized dealer to help you diagnose the ACD and reset the light in that case.

General Warning

The general warning is a red light, showing an exclamation point inside a square shape with 90-degree rotation against a yellow background. If it comes on and/or is accompanied by 3 audible beeps, there is an error with one or more engine or hydraulic functions. The same can warn you of a high engine speed or a shutting down engine. But if it flashes and comes with continuous beeps, the engine speed is very high and will shut down in about 10 seconds.

Fuel Level

A fuel level symbol is a picture of a fuel pump and a hose similar to what you often see in some vehicle models. If it is constantly on and/or produces 3 audible beeps, there is an error or a fault in the fuel level sensor system. But if it is flashing with continuous beeps, the fuel level is low, and you should refill as soon as possible. Contact an authorized dealer or mechanic for the first case.

Glow Plugs

The glow rug indicator is a yellow symbol of a typical light bulb. It turns on and stays on for energized glow plugs. But if it flashes and/or comes with 3 audible beeps, there is a fault with the glow plugs. You may need to talk to a qualified mechanic to help you fix the problem.

System Voltage

System Voltage

System voltage light is a typical car battery warning light. It comes on when the voltage is too low, high, or very high. The low voltage can result from a faulty alternator that does not charge the battery or over-draining it. Over-charging also triggers the light since the battery voltage will be higher than the rated value.

Different reasons can cause the system battery light to come on. You can diagnose the problem yourself, but if you are not a DIYer, contact a mechanic for help. If you have a damaged battery, it should be replaced. You should also fix a faulty alternator, broken wires, or any culprit.

Engine Oil Pressure

Engine oil pressure light shows on the dashboard of your Bobcat machine as a fluid drop inside a bulb-shaped outline. There are also two arrows on both sides pointing away from it. If it comes on and audible beeps accompany it, there is an error or fault in the engine oil pressure sensor. That usually occurs when the sensor is out of range.

The engine oil pressure light can also warn of a low engine oil pressure. But if it flashes with continuous alarm beeps, the engine oil pressure is lower than the allowable minimum. The engine will be shutting down in about 10 seconds. Contact your mechanic or dealer to find the cause and fix the problem.

Hydrostatic Charge Pressure

A hydrostatic charge pressure indicator is a red light showing two star-like shapes representing static charges against a yellow background. A circle also encloses them and two upward-pointing arrows at the bottom and top. The light comes on with/or 3 beeps accompanying it. If it is constantly ON, the hydraulic oil pressure sensor is out of range or low level. Check it and top it up if necessary. Otherwise, contact your mechanic to diagnose the system.

This light can also be flashing with continuous beeps accompanying it. If that is the case, the hydraulic charge pressure is below the minimum. The engine will be shutting down in about 10 seconds. Once again, check the level and top it up with the appropriate product.

Engine Coolant Temperature

Engine Coolant Temperature indicator in Bobcat is a grayscale picture of a bulbous shape with a filament and a thermometer. It warns if the engine coolant sensor is out of range or the temperature is too high. There may be 3 audible beeps accompanying the light indicator.

You should check the problem and fix it before continuing with the task. Otherwise, the situation may worsen, causing the light to start flashing and producing continuous beeps. At that stage, the engine can shut down at any time. It may be costlier at this stage.

The engine air filter is a grayscale light of a filter and an arrow piercing it from one side and a dotted line below it. It comes on when there is a high air filter restriction. That can result from obstructions due to debris accumulation in the filter. You can remove and clean the filter if you are a DIYer or call a mechanic for help. But if the light flashes, the air filter is not connected.
