This warning light is usually available on the heavy-duty Subaru STI model. With red letters R. DIFF TEMP, it alerts you that the rear end temperature is excessively high. This light comes on if the third members are overworked and overheating. They are made of high-tensile strength metal but can be easily affected by heat.

If the rear differential light comes on when driving, pull over and let it cool before continuing again. If the light comes on again after cooling, call for immediate assistance. Don’t continue driving.

If the traction control system is on and working appropriately, green letters TRAC, ACTIVE TRAC, or A-TRAC appear. If there is a problem with the system, the color turns yellow. The master warning light may accompany this.

Yellow or amber symbols of TCSS OFF, TRAC OFF, or TCS OFF mean the traction system has been turned off. But if these lights persist when the switch is still on, there is a malfunction. Take your vehicle to the mechanic for diagnosis and repair.

Reverse Automatic Braking (RAB) Indicators

Those acronyms listed above or two cars coming head-on can symbolize the indicator. The word OFF is added to the symbol if you turn this system off. And if there is a fault, an exclamation mark is added instead.

This symbol is common in many four-wheel-drive vehicles. It is shown by an SUV vehicle on a rugged or steep surface, while some models show it with a speedometer. When activated, a green light. It helps drivers on uneven terrains by balancing brake and throttle to avoid slipping or getting stuck.

EV Mode Operation Indicators

Drivers can switch the vehicle to use only the electric motor to power it, provided the battery is capable. When activated, a green EV symbol lights on the dashboard. If there is a clock in the top-right corner, it shows that the high-voltage battery is being saved.
